ARTIST'S STATEMENTSThe sequential “TRANSFORMATION SCROLLS” were painted live during my Toronto public performances. The rapid studies were created in under 15 minutes and were among my first large format narrative explorations. The scrolls were especially exciting in their ability to present instantaneous parables in front live audiences. Each adventure depicts a metamorphosis of man to animal, monster, and machine, composed of real life documentation, fantastical punch lines and stern warnings. |
