SURREAL COMICS T-SHIRTS, DESIGNS AND FASHION

MONSTER FASHION AND STREET WEAR! THE CITY IS A GIANT GEAR PROPELLED BY ALL THE PEOPLE MOVING THROUGH IT!! The primary aspiration of the “HEY APATHY!” project is to create artworks that are intellectually provocative as well as accessible. One of the most powerful means of mainstream communication has always been fashion. From kings to paupers, all our stories are writ on our clothes. By creating street wear, stories are able to circulate in a way the wall paintings cannot, available and communicative to a much wider audience. I first produced T-Shirts designs in 2003 followed by a limited edition of female tank tops in 2004. Since that time numerous other custom designs, a permanent collection of shirts, and several limited edition hats, hoodies, shoes, dresses and unique garments have been developed. In 2008 the A.G.O. commissioned a limited edition female shirt in celebration of their grand re-opening. The monster styles, live painting and musical performance were also featured on the runway at Gallery 1313’s annual Fantasy Fashion Show. The “HEY APATHY!” murals have been showcased in fashion magazines and numerous independent and feature films.
