MONSTER COMICS ANIMATION 4HARD RAIN MONSTER COMICS ANIMATION! All sides are revealed at once! Following an apocalyptic attack, the city of gears is tainted, twisted and stained by a terrifying psychic residue. The citizens dawn black sleeves as they march through the melting streets. Creatures emanate from buildings, hate and fear fill the sky as smoke and trapped souls are personified. Caught in the imaginary bombardier’s cockpit, we witness the chaos below. Despite an overwhelming sense of responsibility we can't help but feel detached from the despair. The never ending cycle of horrors has made it's inevitable rotation. I made this cartoon as part of my-post 9-11 series entitled HARD RAIN. The complete collection of these Chapter 4 HEY APATHY! artworks included 13 large murals, a 250 piece sculptural drawing installation and this 30 second animated loops. The exhibition opened at the VIRUS ARTS Gallery in Toronto March 2003.
